• This formula is frequently used for the elderly and for postpartum Blood loss.
• Suited to very marked Blood and Yin deficiency.
• Compared with Ma Zi Ren Wan: Run Chang Wan treats constipation from Blood deficiency (Desiccated Intestines, Chang Ku); Ma Zi Ren Wan treats constipation from Fluid deficiency with Dry-Heat in the Stomach and Large Intestine (Spleen Bind, Pi Yue).
