Clinical Manifestations

Small coin sized red or pale red or moist pale red or dark or hyper pigmented lesions located on the scalp, body, extremities, and other areas that increase rapidly There are covered scales which are tightly covered or heaped up and are easily shed when scratched or thick hard and adherent

Removing the scale reveals a light pink shining membrane Beneath the membrane are petechiae Longstanding lesions may overlap Lesions may be painful or fissured Itching may be intense
