Ren Mai – Conception Vessel

Confluent (master) point: LU-7 Couple point: KI-6

REN-1, REN-7, REN-22, REN-23

Indications

Leukorrhea, irregular menstruation, infertility in women and men, hernia, nocturnal emission, enuresis, urinary retention, pain in the epigastrium and lower abdomen, and pain in the genital region.

Notes

This handout gives no separate Ren pathway; it appears through its pairing and crossing points.
Pairing: LU-7 (Ren, hand) with KI-6 (Yin Qiao, foot); both marked Yin (-) in the pairing table.
KI-6 + LU-7 activates the Yin Qiao together with the Ren Mai.
REN-1 is the crossing point of the Ren, Du and Chong vessels.
REN-7 lies on the Chong pathway and regulates the Penetrating Vessel.
The Yin Wei vessel joins the Ren at REN-22 and REN-23.
