From Class

  • Ren-21 to Ren-23 — thyroid: Lie directly over the thyroid; important thyroid points (Ren also governs imprinting/bonding). (Rabinowitz)
  • Ren-22 & Ren-23 on Yin Wei Mai: Yin Wei rises to Ren-22 and Ren-23 — the power of giving speech to what's been hidden; voicing 'the demons' lets them leave. (Lewis)
  • Ren-22, Ren-23, Du-15 (Window of Sky points): Open communication between heaven and earth; located between heart and brain so what is truly in the heart can come out past our adornments. (Lewis)
  • Ren-22, Ren-23, Du-15 (unspoken words): Ren-22 and Ren-23 release tension at the tongue base; Du-15 Mute Gate helps express what remained unspoken and find closure. (Lewis)
  • Pericardium divergent: The Pericardium divergent begins at PC-1 Tianchi, descends through the three burners, and a branch ascends to the throat (Ren-23) to join San Jiao at GB-12/SJ-16. (Yuen)
  • Ren, Du, Wei summary (review): Ren: bonding/imprinting, Ren-21–23 for thyroid; Du: individuation, brain, Du-16–17 HPA axis; Wei: global linking, profound depression/loss of purpose (SJ-5, PC-6). (Rabinowitz)
  • Yin Wei Mai psychic treatment — forgiving the past: Resolves deepest internal conflict: PC-6 opens the chest, KI-9 witnesses life as a revered guest, SP-15 centers, SP-16 for unresolved heartbreak, LV-14 unbinds the chest, Ren-22/23 tell a new story. (Lewis)
