Spleen Channel (SP)
Circuit: Earth 地 – LU → LI → ST → SP
Organs connected: SP, ST, (HT)
Pathway
- Starts at the medial side of the big toe, runs along the inside of the foot and turns in front of the inner ankle bone.
- Rises along the posterior surface of the lower leg
- and the medial side of the knee and thigh
- and enters the abdominal cavity (crossing: REN-3, REN-4, REN-10).
- Travels internally to its own organ, the SP,
- and links with the ST.
- The main Meridian carries on along the surface of the abdomen up to the chest (crossing: GB-24, LIV-14, LU-1),
- where it goes inside again and follows the throat
- to the root of the tongue, spreading across its lower surface.
- An internal branch leaves the ST, rises through the diaphragm and enters the HT, linking with the HT Meridian.
