Notes

Five Elements Spirit Perspective

Spirit of the Point

The Gallbladder gives coordination and the courage to act. When it is disturbed there can be timidity, the 'small gallbladder', weak and unfocused thinking, a lack of motivation and difficulty with speech and movement. This point settles the mind and gives clarity and strength back to Mind and Spirit.

Worsley

Location: On the temple, ½ ACI inside the natural hairline, two thirds of the way along from GB-4 toward GB-7.
Needle depth: 2 fen
Moxa: 3 cones

When to Consider
  • When a person lacks courage or penetrating thought
  • When there is timidity and lack of motivation
  • When coordination of speech and movement is affected
Combinations
  • GB-9 Heaven Rushing and GB-34 Yang Mound Spring with GB-6: restore clarity and strength to the Mind and Spirit
