Five Elements Spirit Perspective
| Spirit of the Point | Lou is rain dripping from the Heavens from a leaky ceiling, with no door; Gu is a valley, a place where energy can flow through. This point keeps things from leaking out: food, essence, the person's essence of the self. It holds the spirit in place and gives it a container. It takes some Earth to deal with this: it is a holding point. Like Broken Bowl, it is for leaking through the cracks: this point patches the leaks. |
