Five Elements Spirit Perspective
| Spirit of the Point | Insect Ditch is a good spirit point. Insects start to come out: many people whose Liver is out of order get irritated skin, and the mind can be irritated too. Working this point is like clearing out a ditch to remove the buried irritation, and it calms the patient enormously. As a very powerful Junction point it cements the Wood together, giving security and balance; it anchors and stabilizes and restores harmony and sanity. It takes away irritation and opens a new conversation, clearing out dead wood the way insects do. |
