Five Elements Spirit Perspective
| Spirit of the Point | Receive and Support holds, supports and contains. Deep pathways join here, and the name suggests the way this point bears up the trunk and upper body. It suits hard workers who need to rest and to come out of their heads and into their bodies. It gives the muscular reserves of energy to spring forward: to come off the starting block, move out and push through resistance. It backs the ambition to push ahead; when it is lacking the person wilts and droops, like a plant given too little or too much water. |
|---|---|
| Worsley | Supplies the flow of strength that lets us stand our ground in the world with balance, poise and flexibility. Holding us upright and replenishing us, this steady stream of vital energy lets us stride through life with ease and buoyancy. Location: In the middle of the buttock (gluteal) crease, straight below UB-54, between biceps femoris and semitendinosus. |
