Five Elements Spirit Perspective
| Spirit of the Point | Purest white: Metal's white, radiant, shining quality, the richness of the Heavens together with the richness of Metal in the Earth. Though less powerful than a Window of the Sky point, it is still very powerful. It brings the purity of clean air into a life, and as a wonderful point for cleansing and revitalizing it gives freedom, clarity, cleanness and comfort. Valiant in its pure intention, it supplements Heavenly Palace with solidity and essence, and gives everything the other Lung points give, though to a lesser degree. All of Metal's qualities: valor, heroism, purity, radiance and Heaven's richness. A knight in shining white armor, flawless at the core, an essence that cannot be soiled; when the knight is tired, weary and fallen from the horse, this point dusts off the armor, straightens the plume and gives the energy to carry on the fight. The sword is perfectly sharp and cuts through veils of illusion, imperfection and garbage. It is the hero's quest: like the vows taken on entering the spiritual path, it builds courage and strength through being consecrated. |
