Five Elements Spirit Perspective

Spirit of the Point

Womb and Heart Diaphragm is for a heart and womb that have come apart and no longer work together. The person needs the Heart's pure love to be able to conceive, and the Heart plays a large part in uniting those areas of the self. It connects with who we are and goes back to the source, to who we were in the beginning; it is a connection with the Heart and with breathing in who we want to be. In men, it brings the capacity to mother and nurture oneself.

Worsley

Provides the space in which we become our essential and authentic self.

Location: Outside the sacroiliac joint, 4½ ACI from the midline, level with the 2nd sacral foramen.
Needle depth: 5-7 fen
Moxa: 5-10 cones

When to Consider
  • When heart and womb have come apart, often after an abortion, a miscarriage or infertility
  • For mental turmoil: anxiety, fear, and suicidal or phobic tendencies
  • When bad periods or frigidity are linked with emotional problems
  • After delivery, especially if the mother does not feel connected with the child, and for postpartum depression
  • When someone needs to reconnect with who they are and breathe in who they want to be
  • When a man needs to mother and nurture himself
  • When a person is having trouble conceiving, whatever their CF
Notes
  • Outer Bladder line point, opposite the Associated Effect Point (AEP) of the Bladder
  • Gives general supportive power to the Bladder, mental and physical
