Five Elements Spirit Perspective
| Spirit of the Point | Tai means greatness. Xi means a deep, small stream, with great empowering depth and control. By now more water runs through the meridian, clear and clean and full of trace elements, so this point lets us draw on the fluid reserves and enrich Water's quality. It is a very steady point for the Water and calming on the emotions. As the Earth point, it lends Earth's stability, helping the person adapt like flowing water to changes, without the fear of losing control. A filling point: it lets a person stand within life's stream and let life flow through them without reacting. It is a source of nourishment and great power that reassures, holds and fills, giving the holding a person needs to find the courage to step into life's mystery. The water has become a stream gaining force and vitality, clearing sluggishness and washing away fears and stagnation, moving the muck out of the way. |
