Notes

Five Elements Spirit Perspective

Spirit of the Point

Anterior Summit is the summit for when things have not yet fully fallen apart. Calling this meeting early stops the Officials going crazy and ceasing to communicate with one another. It gathers the Qi and stabilizes the spirit. It brings the perspective of the elders, like DU-19 and DU-20.

Worsley

Location: 8½ ACI above DU-15, on the midline of the head.
Needle depth: 2 fen
Moxa: 3-7 cones

When to Consider
  • When things have not yet fully fallen apart, but turmoil and agitation are growing
  • When the Officials are starting to stop communicating with each other
  • When havoc and confusion need gently dispersing
Notes
  • The Posterior Summit is for when everything has already blown up
  • Used wisely, it stops the Officials from making a mess of things
