Notes

Five Elements Spirit Perspective

Spirit of the Point

This point carries warmth, love, compassion and heat, and clear energy, to every Official. Because the Three Heater looks after the wellbeing of each of the others, they all gain from this point, and it can feed vitality overall. It is a strengthening, uplifting and underused point that can rekindle the spark of Fire when much fundamental work has been done but the embers are still not strong enough.

Worsley

Harmonizes heat, joy and energy in every fiber of our being.

Location: Behind the ear on the curving hairline, one third of the way from the base of the ear (pinna) up to its apex.
Needle depth: 1 fen
Moxa: No moxa

When to Consider
  • When there is depression and a lack of vitality, strength and spark
  • When the Three Heater is weak at any level
  • When the person can no longer reach out with warmth and love
  • When there is fear, fright or a startled Heart
Notes
  • Gives a free, harmonious flow so the Fire's energy and heat reach the other Officials and meridians, with each Official receiving the same amount
