Five Elements Spirit Perspective
| Spirit of the Point | Of all Wood points this is the Wood point, for the Fire that is the Fire of all Fires, and not used nearly enough. Middle is the middle way, the balanced way; an islet is surrounded by water. Wood must always be on hand for the Three Heater so the Fire and warmth inside us can stay uniform, and this point is a major link to the way plans and decisions get made. It brings Wood energy into the Fire and works powerfully on the mental level: among the body's finest points for the mind, helping getting well to be born. It gives the Official flexibility in meeting the needs of others and harmonizing them. It is a central clearing house for information, drawing on the mother, Wood, to fuel the Fire; with too much or too little Wood the result is raging heat or cold. |
